Jan. 18, 2009- Goosebumps!

Jan. 18, 2009 Ship's Log.

Weather: sunny, relatively warm, low winds.

Crew: Cap'n Tom, Davy, Niall, Justin, Maria, Denise, Raven and Dylan.

With the wind as calm as it was, all the ships lingered close to the start line. The committee boat decided last-minute to change the course, in light of the circumstances, to go to the highway, the cove and back to the finish line- one lap.





With the race underway, the crew had a lovely time. Another comradery beer was thrown to the temptress from the Skipper of the Mirabai, this time Cap'n Tom caught the beer without incident.

Naturally, the Temptress crossed the finish line well ahead of the Mirabai.

After the race, the crew of the Temptress agreed (in typical pirate fashion) to sail around the lake and enjoy the weather, after the race.
